Gothic Harps

I make them according to historical or modern ways of construction. The modern way shows a crossgrained soundboard, frame construction and relativly strong tension of strings. Historial gothic harps have got a body carved out of the solid wood and due to vertical the grain of the soundboard less tension of the strings.

Harp model "daVinci36"

This harp is gothic by form and frame construction, but equipped with a modern body. The sound is strong and carrying far, the long stringed bass powerfull, and produces plenty of overtones.
The harp normally is not fitted with the carved head, and the tip of the pillar looks more like the one from the "Notre Dame".

is also of gothic form with modern body construction. The sound is carrying far, warm, and rich of overtones.
